The story begins at a scientific club where Rogers and his son Loto reveal their accidental discovery that time is merely a dimension of space. They demonstrate an apparatus capable of transporting matter through time, having previously glimpsed a snowy, desolate future where a young girl named Azeela is held captive by a cruel captor named Toroh. Driven by a desire to save her, Loto and a small group of friends launch a daring expedition forward through the centuries. Upon arriving in the future, Loto encounters a world of decadence and brutal survival, eventually rescuing Azeela with the help of a sympathetic local woman named Koa.
After returning to their own era, the narrative shifts to the distant future of the island where Azeela's people, the Anglese, face an imminent invasion by Toroh and his army of primitive Noths. Fahn, a leading scientist and Azeela's father, assumes control of the government to organize a desperate defense. Utilizing newly revived technologies such as flying discs and anti-gravity suits, the Anglese engage in a fierce battle against Toroh's forces across land, sea, and air. The conflict reaches a devastating climax at Orleen, where Fahn sacrifices himself by detonating the cavern's volcanic core to annihilate the invading hordes. Ultimately, Loto and his companions return safely to the present with Azeela and her sister Dee, ready to begin a new life in a familiar yet forever altered world.
